It all began in 2017. The Camino Frances led us on an adventure which left us wanting more while travelling with less. Next year, we are not on a Camino but exploring with our backpacks and seeing if there could be a place in Greece that we could call home. Watch this space - the blog will be back from July 2025.

Things don’t always go to plan. Our journey along the Gebennensis and Chemin Le Puy was a lesson in this truth. Various challenges shifted the course of our best-laid travel plans. We learnt the importance of preparation, especially when it came to food. With every exhausting climb and treacherous descent, the trail reminded us about the need for resilience, flexibility, and finding the joy of exploration.

Our second Camino led us through the evocative landscapes of Italy, where we flirted with la dolce vita, while walking from Fidenza to Rome.

As we made our way toward Rome, we slogged across Tuscany’s terrain to collapse each afternoon, in a hilltop village…because we did this during a heatwave.

After some recovery time in gorgeous Rome, our journey continued as we chose the long way home via Spain, Portugal, France and the US.
